These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SelfMinds AI website at selfminds.ai and any services provided by SelfMinds AI ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

SelfMinds AI provides applied AI consulting, research, and engineering services including but not limited to agentic AI systems, computer vision, natural language processing, generative AI, workflow automation, and healthcare AI solutions. Specific deliverables, timelines, and terms for individual engagements are defined in separate statements of work or service agreements.

2. Use of This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data
• Transmit malware, spam, or disruptive code
• Scrape or harvest site content for commercial purposes without written consent
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in any communication with us

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, imagery, design, and code — is the property of SelfMinds AI or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

Research publications authored by SelfMinds AI personnel are subject to the terms of the respective publishing venues (ACM, IEEE, Springer, etc.).

4. Client Engagements

Work products, models, and systems developed under a client engagement are governed by the signed service agreement for that engagement. Unless otherwise specified in writing:

• Pre-existing SelfMinds AI intellectual property (tools, frameworks, methodologies) remains our property
• Custom deliverables are assigned to the client upon full payment
• We retain the right to describe the nature of the engagement (without disclosing confidential details) for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless a confidentiality agreement prohibits this

5. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We do not disclose client data, project details, or proprietary information to third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law. Clients are expected to treat SelfMinds AI's methodologies and unreleased research as confidential as well.

6. Healthcare AI

For healthcare engagements, SelfMinds AI operates in compliance with HIPAA where applicable and executes Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with covered entities. Use of AI systems in clinical decision-making remains the responsibility of the licensed healthcare provider. Our systems are tools to support — not replace — qualified clinical judgment.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI systems and research outputs are provided as-is and should be validated before deployment in production environments.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SelfMinds AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Third-Party Links

This website may link to third-party sites (academic publications, partner organizations, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Arlington County, Virginia.
